Notably, the government has announced substantial monthly discounts on Rashan purchases for all citizens.

This initiative encompasses vital household staples such as flour, ghee, and oil, essential for sustenance. Monthly subsidies will be extended to these items, with the potential for a significant 40 percent reduction for each person or family.

The Purpose of the Punjab Ehsaas Rashan Riayat Program

Alternatively, individuals can visit the service centers, with over 600 offices spanning Punjab earmarked under the Benazir program for comprehensive registration services. Following registration, NADRA will scrutinize the data, ensuring that only eligible individuals receive monthly grocery assistance under the auspices of the Ehsaas program.

The registration process for the Ehsaas Rashan Program has been streamlined to ensure accessibility to all segments of society. Eligible families can initiate the registration process by dispatching their ID card number via SMS to 8123. Upon completion of this step, registration is promptly finalized. Within a matter of seconds, a notification detailing one’s eligibility is dispatched. Alternatively, individuals have the option to visit the e-service center, presenting their ID card for processing.
